The Falstaff, in the heart of Canterbury, is well known for offering unforgettable afternoon tea with fresh homemade food and a selection of great-tasting Kent teas (or if you prefer coffee). Nadine, our incredibly talented pastry chef who has wowed us in the past with her many special themed afternoon teas, is continuing the tradition this year. Nadine will be pulling out all the stops to impress you, serving up a devilishly delicious Halloween themed afternoon tea!
Expect all the fantastic stuff that makes our afternoon tea so moreish, but add to that an indulgent spooktacular twist! Immerse yourself in this spooky holiday with our limited edition themed afternoon tea! Perfect for groups of friends (max 6 people) or make it a family affair with our frightfully fantastic children’s menu, we reckon it’s going to be the best Canterbury Halloween event around!
Available between Thursday 29th – Saturday 31st October 2020. The deviant delicious tea features Witches Hat and Ghostly Ghouls Cupcakes, chocolate Drizzle pumpkin slabs, chocofied Petit Fours, macarons as well as our delicious homemade scones warmed to perfection and a selection of fresh sandwiches. pair it with a selection of loose leaf teas or coffee.
The kids can delight in a zombie topped chocolate brownie, a chocolate Mummy- eo, mini chocolate pumpkins and eyeballs, pumpkin stew jelly, crunchy crisps and a selection of fresh homemade sandwiches and includes a selection of fruit juices. Add a little magic and fun to their afternoon with frightfully cool Halloween inspired mini mocktail aptly named the ‘Monsters Inc’ due to it’s fitting likeness to a certain blue monster! A Halloween event wouldn’t be complete without a little treat or two, so every child who books will receive a little surprise treat on us!
Of course, as always this afternoon tea can be upgraded to include a glass of champagne or get completely in the Halloween spirit and try our ghoulish themed Halloween cocktail ‘Dr Jekkyl & Mr Hyde’, created just for the occasion by John our fantastic mixologists!
